Oak Brook Public Library
Location// Oak Brook, IL

Environment// Public Library

Goal// A rotunda and skylight in the center of this 24,000 sq-ft building was to be the main focal point of the library. Visual separation among sections was also key to this installation.

Solution// Legacy Library components were Bretford's solution for Oak Brook. This included placing a large multimedia center under the rotunda in the center of the library. Medium oak shelving along with different colored end panels were the solution to separating the sections of the library. Bretford was able to help create a large meeting room which accommodates community activities
