Environment// Gasser Library and Media Center was built in 2001 as multipurpose facility for use both during and after school hours. It was designed as the technology hub for the school and, as such, features an extensive number of computer stations and databases.

Goal// The goal was to create a welcoming environment where students could not only
comfortably study, but also gather and socialize – a novel concept for a library at that time.

Solution// Once Bretford was chosen, the team went to work right away and began specifying furniture for the room. Ultimately, it was determined that Bretford’s Legacy library system was the ideal line for the Gasser Library and Media Center due to its elegant look and high durability. The Legacy system also offered a complete selection for an integrated look. This significantly reduced the time and effort involved with outfitting the new library.
