Account Management

Before you can begin managing your TechGuard Connect lockers using the Bretford Connect service, you will need an active license for the Bretford Connect service. Once you have a license, you'll need to complete activation and setup of your Bretford Connect user account.

Enrollment

Access to Bretford Connect requires a license key. Licenses are purchased through a qualified reseller and renew on a set cycle established at the time of purchase.

NOTE: During enrollment you will be required to provide an email address. The email address is used to establish a billing and warranty contact (called the Root Tenant Admin) for your TechGuard Connect lockers and the Bretford Connect service.

NOTE: We recommend using a general company email address like itadmin@example.com for enrollment vs. using a staff email address like tjones@example.com. This way you can avoid possible setup bottlenecks or access issues if the staff member is unavailable or if the email address is removed at some point in the future.

Once complete, a welcome email is sent to the address you provided during enrollment with additional instructions to activate the license(s) using the Activate License tool located on the Bretford website.

NOTE: If you haven't received your welcome email with your Bretford Connect licensing within a few days of placing your order, please check your Spam or Junk folders in our email program. If you still haven't received the welcome email after one week, please contact a member of our Customer Care team for assistance.

Activation / Verification

When you activate your first Bretford Connect license key, you will be prompted to confirm account details. The details you provide here establish the primary billing contact (Root Tenant Admin) for your Bretford Connect account. Please confirm all of the information requested and press Continue.

Once you submit your account details, Bretford Connect finishes setting up your account. When the process completes, a final email is sent to the email address provided during enrollment with a link to login the first time and set your Root Tenant Admin password.

Resetting Your Password

To reset your password:

  1. Visit the Bretford Connect website.
  2. Click "Don't remember your password?".
  3. Provide your login email address in the space provided.
  4. Click "Send Email"

An email will be sent to the email address provided with instructions to reset your password. Once you complete the process, you'll be able to log back into the Bretford Connect service.
